Wednesday 1st October 2014:
I have ordered a crib and rocking chair for the nursery, as well as some maternity clothes for Fran. We’re back in business! Fran, on the other hand, has been getting some pretty weird cravings, another common sign for pregnant women, and has been eating bizarre mix of foods recently. One of them being chocolate-covered pickles. I have tried one of those and they are surprisingly tasty! I gave one to Tonto, but he didn’t like the taste of the pickle much. I guess some tastes are arguable.
Friday 3rd October 2014:
The maternity clothes for Fran and the crib and rocking chair for the nursery that I've ordered have just arrived in the mail. Pretty fast, huh? Well, apart from that (and placing the rocking chair and crib in the newly-painted nursery), Fran and I haven't done much. Plus, a crow has been visiting our garden, probably looking for the crocus bulbs I've planted. I know crows are usually harmless but I hate it when they eat my seeds and crops. Plus, this crow's call drives poor Fran crazy. Stupid bird!
Saturday 4th October 2014:
Fran isn't feeling well since we went shopping for baby toys and a book of names yesterday. It's probably due to a cold bug that's been going around lately. Plus, we have a ultrasound booked on Monday, as well as planning a Halloween-themed party and a baby shower for Fran, so I hope her cold simmers down a bit. Not only that, but I also have a terrible headache but working a lot. Hope that goes away too.
Monday 6th October 2014:
Fran just had her second ultrasound today. This time, the baby is now more developed and it starting to look like me and the gender of the baby is likely to be a boy. I know, I know, you may think she'd go nuts or get upset just because she's carrying a son, but she didn't. She actually was overjoyed and didn't seem to mind, since it is our own baby after all.
Wednesday 8th October 2014:
Fran has been getting weird cravings thanks to our unborn son getting hungry every 3 hours. Some of the foods she has eaten are chocolate-covered carrots, Doritos with cream cheese, and pickles and ice cream. It's like the baby is a food addict! Plus, she has recently baked two spiced apple pies. One as a dessert, the other for a friend of her's at the hospital. As for me, I'm looking up some names for the baby when he's born and hatched and watching what Fran eats incase some may be risky for our baby but I quickly stopped just in case she gets cranky.
Friday 10th October 2014:
Today, we bought some Halloween decorations and pumpkins for our Halloween party and some more paint and decorations for the nursery (the spare room that is now cleaned and I'll call it the nursery for now) as well as babysitting Henry Jr. again while his parents are at a friend's wedding. We only got cute, not-so-terrifying decorations for the party so he won't get scared since he is a 1-year old and also let him see the nursery for his cousin. The little guy even talked to the pumpkins we got like they are real, since Fran tells him a little story about good kids getting candy on Halloween when they are friends with pumpkins or jack-o-lanterns.
Sunday 12th October 2014:
Fran & I decided to have a short walk across the forest, which is near our quiet little home, just to get some fresh air and so Fran can get a bit of exercise. To me, it was pretty exhausting since I have to carry Fran on my back and the weight of both her and the baby together nearly snapped my spine in half! Ah well, I couldn't blame her since she is pregnant until December when the baby arrives.
Thursday 16th October 2014:
Sorry for not writing down a entry for the past three days, I was taking care of Fran, who hasn't been feeling well since our walk in the forest. Probably that flu bug has came back to her since it's now getting colder and Summer is over. Hope she recovers from that bug soon.
Friday 17th October 2014:
Fran has went to the doctor's to give her a check-up and to see what type of bug she has. I've had waited for about a few hours (3 or 4 maybe?) and I had this terrible feeling that she may have been kidnapped or her illness just gotten worse and what will happen to her and the baby. Luckily, she came home at 3pm and when I told her that I was worried about, she told me that everything will be alright and nothing bad will happen to her or our unborn son. As for the illness, she stated it was just a common cold and it won't affect the baby. I hope she's right.
Sunday 19th October 2014:
Fran and I went to a cafe, just to talk to some of Fran's friends and to have some soup to soothe Fran's cold a bit. Fran is wearing a warm maternity dress which looked more like a nightdress since it was starting to get cold. We met Fran's friends and we talked back and forth about Fran's pregnancy, when the baby is due, thinking of names, stuff like that. Fran had some vegetable soup, since she had been a vegetarian due to this meat allergy she had since she was a little girl, while I had a cheese and tomato panini since I eat meat-free food around Fran to help support her. As for Fran's friends, whose names are Izzy, Justine, Holly, and Teddy, Holly's little brother, were very friendly and wished us luck, and wanted us to let them know about the baby when he's born. I think this is my favourite entry I've ever written.
Tuesday 21st October 2014:
Fran's cold bug has blown away today and she's back to normal health. Today, I have visited Fran's family for the first time. Her dad, who is named Fred, wasn't the overprotective-of-his-daughter type, he was actually a funny and friendly man and is friends with my dad. Fran's mom, who is named Faith, was glad to see me and dubbed me as a sweet boy. Fran also have a brother and sister, 16-year old Felix and 19-year old Flora. Felix was like a barrel of laughs while Flora offers me some muffins and was such a sweet girl like her big sister. We simply talked about Fran's pregnancy and the baby being due in December, stuff like that. I could be mistaken but Fran's dad may be blind since he always has sunshades over his eyes. When I asked if he was blind, he just laughed and claimed that he isn't blind at all and was just wearing the shades to be cool since he was asked that question before. I just love Fran's family, especially her dad, who should be a comedian thanks to his humour.
Wednesday 22nd October 2014:
Today, we've seen a TV report about a woman being crazy due to her husband having monkey pox, with the picture being Daphne. That report made poor Fran upset about Daphne being a crazed maniac and worried about her health. I comforted Fran and promised her that everything will be okay. I told her that Daphne will calm down sooner or later, but Fran became an emotional and traumatised young woman. When Fran's worried, I get worried too.
Friday 24th October 2014:
Today, we saw that Big Brother Tonto speechless and motionless. After attempting to get him to move and speak, we found out that he was taking a job of a scarecrow, which made him a bird scaring other birds, leaving some of us speechless. After finding out why Big Brother Tonto was being still and silent, we simply went to Olive Garden for a nice dinner.
Saturday 25th October 2014:
Today is KatetheBonsly84's birthday! Well, she prefers herself to be called just Katie since her username can be a mouthful. Anyways, since Katie has know that Fran is pregnant since Fran has told her recently, Katie has made a party that is a mix between a birthday party for her and a baby shower for Fran. Pretty creative for a European Robin girl like her. Fran has received some baby clothes and plush toys for our son, money, and a diamond necklace while Katie got a couple of video games and some money. Fran really loves special things, usually money and jewellery. Don't ask me, it's a girl thing.
Monday 27th October 2014:
Today, we went to a buffet since we both have earned a lot of money from our boss since Fran & I work part-time. Since Fran loves going to nice buffets, she gets excited and helps herself with whatever she chooses and eats at the buffet, because she is pregnant and her cravings are getting WAY weirder than normal. As for me, I did the same like Fran since I can be a gluttonous boy at times. When we went home after we had our lunch at that buffet, Fran saw a female Vulpix trapped in one of our hedges. I managed to get the six-tailed fox out of the bush and, since then, she grew attached and started to follow us in and out of the house. We eventually kept her as a pet and gave her a beautiful nickname, Sasha.
Tuesday 28th October 2014:
Our little addition to the family, Sasha has been an adorable and friendly little Vulpix, as well as excited for our unborn son being due on December. We even got her a petbed for her and placed it in our bedroom. Asides from that, it had been raining all day so we have to stay in the house all day. Plus, Fran has been pretty cranky lately and Sasha and I have to keep her calm since her moodswings are causing stress and trouble for our unborn son. Good thing we have Sasha as a helping hand around the house!
Friday 31st October 2014:
I skipped doing the Trick or Tweet thing with Tonto and Leroy since I have to host my Halloween party with Fran and Sasha (though I still wore my wizard hat). My guests had fun during the party but since Fran is pregnant, I had to check on both her and the party. I also give both her and Sasha some of the party food so Fran won't get hungry and cranky and Sasha won't bite me. Yeah, both my pregnant wife and Vulpix can get hungry quickly. Plus, Fran's belly has grown bigger during this month and she told me and Sasha about her looking like she had swallowed a whole pumpkin. Oh Fran, how I love your jokes! We wish both Angry Birds Mania fans and readers a Happy Halloween!
