Angry Birds: The Great Santa Experience - Part 4

Back in the cabin, Stella’s parents, Aaron and Starla, and Cheryl, Chuck’s gypsy mother, were in Chuck & Stella’s room to help Chuck comfort Stella by talking about what they’ve been doing. While he and Starla were having a conversation to their daughter about how her life with Chuck as husband and wife is and how the twins are doing, Aaron asked his son-in-law “So, how’s my little princess doing? Well, before she got worried about her friends losing their way to the cabin.”. Chuck answered with “She’s doing great, Mr. Galah! Well, she is if you don’t count her behaving pretty weirdly and eating non-edible things like chalk or dirt from time to time.” thus giving the male galah a puzzled look.

“Weird, ” Aaron replied in mild bewilderment “Starla was eating the exact same things before we came here!” He and Chuck both look at Starla and Stella’s stomachs, both of them having . “I guess that also explains those little bumps on their bellies.” Chuck whispered to Aaron so the girls won’t hear “I guess so too.” Aaron agreed. “Explain about what?” Cheryl whispered to the two male birds, giving them both a silent shock. Chuck let his mother join the conversation about Stella and Starla with them eating super weird things and noticing their stomachs getting a little bit bigger than normal. “Well you are a doctor, son.” Cheryl whispered to Chuck “Why don’t you ask them and do a couple of tests on them?” The canary bon slapped one side of his head from idiocy “Why did I think about it before?” he spoke “I’ll get my medical stuff and you two let Stella and Starla know, ‘kay?” he asked to his father-in-law and mother. Aaron and Cheryl looked at each other, then to Stella and Starla (who are chatting with each other), then back at Chuck. “Whatever you say.” Aaron smiled as he and Cheryl went to talk to the two Galah girls while Chuck goes to get his medical equipment.

Back downstairs, Danielle and Maya were serving dishes of the evening meal that is made by their parents and several drinks to both their friends and family with help from the Blues, Silver and Riley (while leaving some of the food for Terence, Tony, Blue and Stella’s friends when they show up). In fact, Silver also served five dishes on a tray to Chuck, Stella, Starla, Cheryl and Aaron since they’re upstairs. While Chuck Jr., Matilda Jr., and Stella Jr. were capable enough to eat their meals off the trays from their highchairs, Red Jr. and Ruby Jr., on the other hand, had to be spoon-fed since they were still too young to eat on their own while Bomb Jr. had to be bottle-fed by his mother since he has just been hatched. As the Blues served the food to their friends, families and guests for the teen girls, Riley took a glimpse at her parents looking at the window while Maya and Danielle looked at her while spoon-feeding the hatchlings.

“What’s wrong, Riley?” Maya asked her while trying to wipe the mess off of Ruby Jr.’s face “Dad has been waiting for Uncle Terence and their cousins, Tony and Blue, for quite some time now.” the cardinal girl answered “Mom and I have been just as worried as him ever since we came here.” “Bummer.” Maya frowned while patting Riley’s shoulder “Don’t you worry though. They’ll show up eventually.” before Matilda Jr. throws some of her mashed potatoes on her older sister’s face, making Riley smile and laugh as Maya tried to wipe the food off her own face. “Y’know, Riley,” she said to Riley sternly “I love my youngest sister, but I’m getting pretty sick and tired of her when she does that.” “Yeah, little brothers or sisters can be a pain in the butt.” Riley agreed. “I heard that!” Danielle butted in while feeding the cardinal twins.

Red, who is currently getting sick and tired of looking at the window, was too busy eating his meal with Ruby. “I gotta admit, dear” Red smiled at last with his mouth (beak) half full “Bomb and Matilda do make great flavourful meals together!” “I’ll say!” Ruby smiled with her husband “You, Chuck, and Bomb still remember about your “Great Santa Experience” for tonight?” she reminded him, who just laughed. “Of course, we still remember, dear!” Red laughed “Wait ‘till Terence, Tony and Blue get a load of that!” as he goes back to eating with a smile on his face. “At least you’re not worried for now.” Ruby smiled as she went back to eating her meal.

Meanwhile, on another hill not too far from the cabin, Blue can detect the smell of food coming from the cabin before signalling his brother, cousin and Stella’s friends by speaking with excitement “I think we’re getting close!” while wagging his tail like a super happy dog alongside with Stella’s friends cheer and Terence and Tony both smile. “Can’t wait to see the look on Stella’s face when we go through that cabin door!” Poppy grinned as she and the other travellers went up to the cabin with excitement while the cold barely bothered them anyway. As she travelled to the cabin, Breeze asked Terence “Where is my sister going to sleep?” since she feared that there won’t a room for her younger twin sister to sleep in “Besides, if Stella finds out about Gale, she’ll flip!” Terence answered her question with a soft grunt, which Breeze understands. “Special little room, eh?” Breeze asked, quite intrigued “Whereabouts?” Terence, once again, grunted at her other question as if to say “Trust me.” before winking at her.

The travellers managed to get to the cabin and before Terence can knocked on the door, Terence shows Breeze to the place where Gale is sleeping in; a fine-looking log cabin that is built right next door to the big cabin. “You’re saying Gale’s sleeping in there? Are you sure it’s clean and safe in there?” she asked him, who answered by nodding his head yes. “Well, whatever you say.“ she shrugged it off as she and Terence went into the log cabin, which looked very nice and warm and ready for Christmas, inside and out. “You tuck Gale in, I’ll go back to the others.” Breeze smiled as she went back to the doorstep of the modern cabin. Terence nodded before not only placing Gale into the soft bed and tucked, but also placing several Christmas cards and presents for Gale and kissing her cheek before leaving the cabin quietly and closing the door with a soft grunt and a sweet smile on his face as if to say “Merry Christmas, my dear.“ and going back to the modern cabin with his cousins and Stella’s friends.

Terence went back to the modern cabin and rang the doorbell, in which Ruby answered, who became excited and full of joy when she saw Red’s own brother and Finnish cousins before calling out for Red while inviting Terence, Tony, Blue and Stella’s friends inside the warm cabin. Red turns around and was filled with happiness when he sees Terence and his cousins and greeted them a very happy “Terence! Tony! Blue! You finally showed up!” before hugging his older brother and cousins with tears of joy as Terence hugs him back with Tony smiling and Blue cheering with delight and Ruby, Riley and the twins hugging them with delight as well. Stella’s friends, on the other hand, went upstairs, where they were reunited with Stella, alongside with Starla, Aaron, Chuck and Cheryl. “Aren’t ya glad to see us?” Poppy smiled as she and her friends form a group hug. “I sure am!” Stella smiled with joyful tears in her tears. “Careful where you hugging me though.” as her parents, husband and mother-in-law joined in their hug as well. “So, where’s that food?” Luca smiled “I’m starving!” making everyone in the bedroom laugh.
