Pink Lemonade: The After Story Ch. 5

Chapter 5: The Great Moment Arrives!
-Three and a Half Weeks Later-

~Susie's P.O.V~
Today has finally showed up! Why? Because my Mommy's finally gonna have the baby today! Even my friends are excited about the baby all day while Miss Willow tried to calm all of us but since we were too eager about the baby she was unable to. Poor Miss Willow. Plus, we made some maths (Luca and I got most of the answers right) and writing in the morning, while in the afternoon we learned about flowers and Miss Willow showed us about flowers from all around the world, like cherry blossoms trees from Japan to cacti from deserts!

Plus, Candy (Bubbles' little sister) told me that her pet caterpillar, Popcorn, had turned into a very rare breed of butterfly and it's currently in the Piggy Island Butterfly House! Well, we never knew what breed or gender Popcorn the butterfly was since its breed is very rare, not even Miss Willow knows! Well, that's what happened at Kindergarten. That is until I heard the phone rang and Miss Willow went to answer it.

A few minutes later and Miss Willow went up to me and told me that my Daddy called me to get to the hospital since Mommy is ready to have the baby and is going to pick me up early because of it. Ooh! Now, I'm getting REALLY excited for the baby! I wonder what my baby brother would look like when he is born? Is he gonna be yellow like me and Daddy or pink like Mommy? I'm thinking he'll have Mommy's pink feathers and tail since I got Daddy's yellow feathers and tail. Ooh, this is so exciting!

~Chuck's P.O.V~
I'm so nervous about Stella as I went to pick up Susie from kindergarten. My heart was racing like CRAZY and I was sweating like a pig! Well not really, because I've heard that real pigs can't sweat. I did tried to stay calm when I picked up Susie so I won't get her as worried as I am. She asked me "How's Mommy, Daddy?" while I replied "She's doing fine, missy. Though she's getting ready to have your baby brother." Luckily, Susie wasn't worried or nervous on the way to the hospital since she was too busy talking and guessing of what the baby would look like while being excited about seeing the baby when he's born.

I placed Susie in the children's part of the waiting room after I signed myself in reception and before I got myself ready to help Stella give birth to our baby son. Not only I'm worried about Stella, I'm also worried about the baby as well! If either Stella or the baby or both Stella and the baby won't make it, I don't want to upset or disappoint Susie. Let's hope Stella and the baby pull through…

~Stella's POV~
Ooh boy, I'm in so much pain right now because it's time for me to give birth to this baby right here, right now! Luckily, Chuck is there with me while Silver and Dahlia are there to help me deliver me and Chuck's baby son. From breathing here and painful pushing there, I felt like I was going to die as I push every time while I worry about what may be wrong about the baby! I got worried about the baby's health or if he is born with disabilities or deformities even though I never smoked or drank alcohol during my pregnancy. Yes, I was THAT worried!

After about thirty whole minutes of breathing and pushing, (and since that we are all birds here) I pushed out the egg containing our baby son as Silver caught it and went to clean the blood and mucus off it before wrapping the egg in a warm blue blanket and giving it to me. Both me and Chuck gently kissed and cuddled our new egg as our baby son moved eagerly from inside his egg. "I'll go get Susie to see the baby. Is that okay with you, Stelly?" Chuck asked me. "Sure." I replied as I gently hugged my egg and he left to get Susie.

As I waited for Chuck to come back with Susie, I saw Bomb pushing Matilda on a wheelchair and Matilda looked like she was holding two little swaddled babies (one in pink, the other in blue) in her arms which I knew those are their twins. I called out to both her and Bomb by yelling "Hey Bomb and Matilda!", which attracted their attention. As Bomb lets Matilda have a girl-on-girl chat, she allows me to see her newly-hatched twins, who look like her and Bomb when they were babies. Her twins, who are also named after their parents, both look at me with their big cute eyes as their mother stroked their tiny heads, making them purr happily. A few minutes (10 maybe?) later, Bomb and Matilda left after they wished me and Chuck good luck to our new baby (when he hatches) and it didn't take long until Chuck came back with Susie while the egg started to hatch in my arms.

~Normal P.O.V~
Chuck, Stella and Susie watched with anticipation and excitement as the baby egg hatches into a baby boy bird! The baby had Chuck's green eyes, body shape, eyebrows and hair while also having Stella's pink feathers and tail. The new baby looks all around while seeing his parents and older sister for the very first time of his life before chirping and purring happily just like his mother from the warmth of his mother's feathers and arms.

"He's so cute!" Susie squealed with delight. "He looks like Daddy!" which made Chuck smile. "I know he does, dear." Stella smiled at her daughter as her son coos in her arms. "What are we gonna name him, Mommy and Daddy?" Susie asked her parents with excitement. "We're going to name him Chester, just like we agreed with." Chuck said with a smile on his face. The newly-named baby Chester started to coo and chirp hungrily. "Looks like Chester's hungry." Chuck said. "I'll feed him some of my milk." Stella purred as she started to feed her newborn son her breastmilk, making him suckle and purr just like his mommy.

"Say, Daddy," Susie said to Chuck "I've got a question for you." "Well, ask away, sweetie." Chuck smiled. "Will Chester have your ability of going fast or Mommy's Pink Flash ability when he gets older?" Susie asked with curiosity filling in her body. "Well, we'll just have to wait and see, Susie." Stella smiled as she continued to breastfeed and cuddle Chester. "Just you wait until he learns to move around and says his first word!" Chuck grinned as he, Stella, and Susie (and for the first time, baby Chester) laughed as they welcomed their new addition to their family, Chester Joshua Calah.
